An aerospace research and development company required a custom thermal vacuum test system for their space analyses and assessments.
We configured a Thermal Cycling Vacuum System (TVAC) capable of achieving high vacuum while simulating the extreme thermal conditions of space – utilizing a closed-style refrigerated heating circulator to achieve the target temperature ranges. Thermal vacuum system is equipped with a thermal shroud, large platen shelf, two 8” viewports, and LED lighting. Vacuum pumping system includes a dry vacuum roughing pump and high vacuum turbopump package.
System is mounted on a ruggedized mobile frame and testing is controlled entirely using our versatile HVC-3500 Thermal Vacuum Controller.
