We engineered a custom Thermal Cycling Vacuum System capable of achieving high vacuum while simulating the extreme thermal conditions of space. The system includes a cast aluminum platen with internal stainless steel tubing for LN2 circulation and electrical heating channels. The system is capable of achieving a temperature range from -150°C to 150 °C. The system has two doors, one on each end of the cylinder, one of the doors is attached to the platen and allows you to roll out the platen for easy access.
The system is mounted on a ruggedized mobile frame and testing is controlled entirely using our versatile HVC-3500 Thermal Vacuum Controller.
LACO engineers can provide onsite engineering support and training to assist in setting up the device, ensuring there are no issues or errors, and training personnel on how to use the system.
