Global manufacturer of auto safety components required a leak test system for airbag diffusers. Customer requirements included:
- Leak test multiple sizes diffusers with common tooling
- High throughput, fast cycle time
- Challenging seal interface
- Simulated parts for calibration and validation
We engineered a custom leak test system using the helium hard vacuum leak test method and dual vacuum test chambers and leak detectors for fast cycle times. Custom tooled leak test fixtures accommodated multiple part sizes.
