A company specializing in satellite platforms for space communication, tracking, surveillance and remote sensing required a thermal vacuum space simulation system capable of temperature cycling through extreme temperature and pressure changes at a fast rate. System requirements included a temperature range from -55 °C to 150 °C on thermal plate and shrouds, easy part loading, automated vacuum and temperature control, and custom test recipes.

Using our expertise in thermal vacuum systems for space simulation, our engineers designed a custom thermal high vacuum system capable of replicating the extreme environments of space, with all the custom features and components required to meet their application requirements.


  • 36" X 40" horizontal high vacuum chamber with 304 stainless steel slide-out platen. Body, door and back end shrouds, internal lighting, custom ports and feedthroughs
  • HVC-3500 Thermal Vacuum Controller for automated vacuum and temperature control, customizable software, and adjustable test recipes for unique testing requirements
  • Closed-style heat/cold temperature circulator with temperature range from -60 °C to 150 °C
