An aerospace industry customer required a high vacuum system to test and validate the integrity of their imaging system components under extreme pressure and temperature conditions.
We configured a system using our standard 36″ diameter by 40″ deep vacuum chamber utilizing a cast aluminum platen with an embedded LN2 manifold and electrical heating elements to achieve the target temperature ranges. A cylindrical thermal shroud with LN2 cooling on a separate cooling zone was also included. This FST system also included as standard or ISO 160, 6″ diameter door viewport with internal LED lighting. Vacuum pumping system included a dry roughing pump and upgraded high pumping speed cryopump high vacuum pump package.
System is fully integrated on a ruggedized mobile frame and testing is controlled entirely using our versatile HVC-3500 Thermal Vacuum Controller.
