An aerospace research and development company required a custom thermal vacuum test system to support space analysis and assessment activities.
To meet this requirement, we configured a Thermal Cycling Vacuum System (TVAC) capable of achieving high vacuum while simulating the thermal conditions encountered in space using a closed-style refrigerated-heating circulator to reach the required temperature ranges. The system integrates an internal pillow-plated thermal shroud, a large stainless steel platen shelf, two 8″ viewports, and internal LED lighting to support part loading and visual monitoring during testing. High-vacuum performance is achieved using a dry vacuum roughing pump paired with a high-vacuum turbopump package.
The complete system mounts on a ruggedized mobile frame and operates through the HVC-3500 Thermal Vacuum Controller, providing automated vacuum sequencing, programmable thermal profiles, and repeatable test execution for aerospace research environments.
