A global manufacturer required an SF6 accumulation test for switchgear system for high-voltage switchgear tanks. The project involved developing a leak test solution with a versatile test chamber capable of handling various part sizes while maintaining a tight leak-rate reject limit and ensuring consistent, automated operation.
We worked together with the customer to engineered a custom turnkey leak test system that utilized SF6 as a leak test gas using the accumulation leak test method. The large test chamber fit multiple part sizes featured adjustable mixing fans for gas mixing.
