A global supplier of automotive safety components required a Pre-Leak Test Evacuation System to improve leak testing performance and consistency. Trapped gases and volatile residues inside the parts were affecting downstream leak measurement stability.
LACO engineered a custom pre-evacuation process using nine vacuum chambers connected through a centralized valve manifold. Parts are evacuated prior to helium leak testing to remove residual gases that can interfere with measurement results. The portable workstation design and digital operator interface support high throughput and repeatable processing in production environments.
