A bioscience company required a leak test system for disposable bioprocess container leak testing. The helium tracer gas method was required to detect the small leak sizes the customer required. Helium permeation through the polymer film also had to be properly address. The customer also required validation testing to ensure the system could detect leaks of a very small hole size.
We engineered a custom automated leak testing system with the helium hard vacuum method that accommodates a wide range of container sizes and detects much smaller leaks than can be found using air leak testing methods.
