A global laboratory testing provider required an altitude simulation system to evaluate the integrity of medical packaging at reduced-pressure conditions while meeting ASTM D6653 requirements. Their needs included a high-capacity chamber, automated control of vacuum profiles, and a dry pumping package suitable for continuous testing.
To meet these requirements, we engineered a fully automated system built around a 36″ Cube Industrial Vacuum Chamber, a VC-2500 Vacuum Controller, and a 7.1 CFM dry vacuum pump. The system supports programmable evacuation, vent, and hold sequences, enabling repeatable altitude simulation cycles for medical component package testing. Locking swivel casters provide mobility, while an aluminum door and Buna O-ring seal ensure dependable vacuum performance.
