LACO Expands Leak Standard Accreditation Range for Larger Leak Rates

Salt Lake City, UT — September 6, 2023 — LACO, a leading provider of calibrated leak standards, announced a major expansion of its leak standard calibration range. The updated accreditation now supports larger leak rates and broader testing requirements.

LACO expanded its accredited calibration scope from 0.5–500 SCCM to 0.05–5000 SCCM on one of its calibration systems. This enhancement allows customers to calibrate a wider range of leak standards using a single, highly accurate system. Notably, the system achieves an industry-leading calibration and measurement capability (CMC) uncertainty of just 1.4%.
