Helium Spray Probes

Helium spray probes work with helium leak detectors to locate leaks on pressurized parts. Engineers fill the test component with helium or a helium mixture, then apply tracer gas externally to joints, welds, and suspected areas. The leak detector measures helium that enters the evacuated system, confirming leak location and size.

Helium Spray Probe with regulator. Includes 20′ 1/4″ OD poly hose with both rigid and flexible probe tips. 

Features

  • Spray gun includes integrated regulator for both ultra fine and large gas flows.
  • User must supply helium below 100 psi. If gas bottle regulator is needed, order LHREG01.
  • Flexible probe tips allow for easy gas spraying in hard-to-reach areas.
  • Spray probe assembly is helium leak tested to less than 10-8 atm cc/sec.

Portable Helium Spray Probe with reservoir and regulator. Includes a lightweight, refillable reservoir for convenient transportation to any location without taking a helium bottle. Includes 20′ 1/4″ OD poly hose with both rigid and flexible probe tips.

  • 620cc refillable aluminum reservoir with gauge and 160 psig pressure relief valve (maximum pressure is 150 psig)
  • Spray gun includes integrated regulator for both ultra fine and large gas flows.
  • Includes both rigid and flexible probe tips.
  • Quick disconnect fitting between reservoir and spray gun for easy storage and easy gas refilling.
  • Includes adaptor for direct connection to helium bottle, if preferred.
  • Spray probe assembly is helium leak tested to less than 10-8 atm*cc/sec.
